How do I plot MSE of 3D-values?
Ältere Kommentare anzeigen
Hello all,
I've made a Monte Carlo Analysis and with the result of this data I'd like to plot the MSE in a XYZ-mode. The data is a matrix(n by 3) of respective XYZ values.
An example of what I'm trying to achieve is: https://static-content.springer.com/image/art%3A10.1186%2Fs40064-015-1173-6/MediaObjects/40064_2015_1173_Fig13_HTML.gif
Thanks in advance

Those plots would be created by the surfc function, but it wants gridded data and it sounds like you have scatter data.
I wrote a post on the MATLAB Graphics blog recently about how to get from scatter data to gridded data. It should be enough to get you started.

Exactly. You have scatter data and surfc wants gridded data. Follow the link to the blog post about how to grid scatter data.

You basically just need to grid all of your variables using one of the techniques I described there.
