Matlab activation client not opening

I recently downloaded Matlab and entered the wrong username, causing License Manager Error -9. I attempted to launch the activation client, but the file listed under the thread for launching the activation client did not work. I am using Windows 8 with a 64-bit processor. Any help as soon as possible is greatly appreciated.
