How do I tell SVN Source Control where to locate my private key so I can access a remote repository?

I am using 2015a on both a Mac and a Windows XP machine. On the Mac I have a private key in ~/.shh/. When I try to access the remote repository, I get the error: "Authentication failed with error: Could not get repository URL: svn: E170001: Authentication required"

Were you able to get SVN to work on your Windows machine? Also, have you followed all the steps at the following link to set up SVN source control with MATLAB?

Specifically how are you trying to access the remote repository?
