Is it possible to generate a BFS tree from a non-sparse matrix?

I am attaching a mat file NodeGraph.mat and I want to construct a BFS tree from a given node in the matrix. Please help you have any idea. Because to construct a BFS tree the function need the adjmat or matrix array to be sparse.
