IS there any update to this for R2015b?
I find this to be one of the most frustrating aspects of trying to use Matlab to generate figures for presentation. I frequently use the "print('-clipboard','-dmeta')" to copy the current figure to the clipboard for pasting into other documents -- but the result is never consistent. The fonts, line weights, and image size vary unpredictably from one Matlab instance to the next. It would be nice if there were some way to pre-set some defaults that were consistently honored -- it seems that the stylesheet would be one way to do this, but it seems to be poorly implemented. Why is there not an easy way to set the default stylesheet to one that the user wants?

Hi Dave,
I understand that you want a default style sheet for printing figures and be able to modify behavior in the style sheet, but unfortunately, this functionality is not available in MATLAB R2015b. I see that you are aware of the workaround mentioned in the link below:
However, I work with MathWorks and will communicate this enhancement request to the appropriate development team! :)
Thanks

This is still an issue in 2019a, how can you modify it?
