How can use one callback function for multiple objects in uicontrol formatting of gui not guide formatting?

I create two popup menu in my function using uicontrol and now I want this two objects have just one callback function that works with some arguments.How can use one callback function for multiple objects in uicontrol formatting of gui not guide formatting? I search about my question but answers were found just about GUIDE not UI programing.

Do you know how to add a single callback programmatically? If so then you just add exactly the same call to both components. It is a lot easier than doing the same thing in GUIDE. As to working with arguments though you would have to give a concrete example to better understand what you are trying to do if this is not a solution.
