Can I use gstreamer0.10 to read avi video on Ubuntu 15.04 because matlab just use gstreamer0.10.

It seems gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg are not applicable on Ubuntu15.04 and gstreamer0.10-plugins-good can't work to decode avi video.

Have you had any luck since posting this? I cannot read a video in Matlab as well. Matlab suggests using gstreamer0.10 plugins but I cannot install gstreamer0.10 plugins to Ubuntu 16.04
