Does Matlab has access to TFTP server? (API? Implementation?)

I need to send and receive large files/data buffers over an Ethernet connection. TFTP sounds perfect for this purpose. Is there a server built in Matlab? Is there any way for Matlab to control third party server? I am running on Windows 7.

Unfortunately, the first line of the answer says: "This example shows how to configure TFTP. It assumes that VxWorks 7.0 is installed on Windows® in the C:\WindRiver folder."

We do not have VxWorks installed on Windows.

The above is what is available.

You may wish to consider calling a Java TFTP from MATLAB, or calling a perl TFTP from MATLAB. Or you could write your own using tcpip()
