implementing Exponential Weighted Moving Average on Simulink

Hello Everyone, I have a question regarding EWMA block in simulink. I would like to use the Exponential Weighted Moving Average Algorithm to estimate the Bitrate based on the traffic characteristics. I am building the model in simulink, but i am working on Version R2014b, which has not this block. Does the discrete FIR filter block do the same function of the EWMA? if yes. what is the Input to that block should be and what is the Output?.
