How to downgrade Simulink model version?

Some models I'm using were created with a newer version of Simulink (7.6) than I'm permitted to use (I'm using 2009b). When executed the warnings about block parameters that don't exist in this version are output.

How do I convert a model created in newer versions of Simulink to the version I'm using? I've tried Save As but that did not make the warnings go away.

SaveAs should ideally convert the model so that it loads without warnings. Could you specify what warnings you see? In some cases, it may be that you are using a feature or block that did not exist in a previous version and cannot be converted into an acceptable form in an older version of Simulink. However, it could also be that the SaveAs functionality needs to be fixed to finish the conversion completely - in which case, this needs to be reported to Tech Support.

In your situation, it seems to be the latter case. Please consider reporting this to MathWorks Tech Support. It may be that the SaveAs functionality was fixed in a more recent version of Simulink.
