how to save strings with id numbers in database file(.mat file),how to displaying that data from .mat file

This is a very general question. The implementation depends on the exact requirements. You can use different CELLs, or a single STRUCT containing strings and id numbers in different fields, or a vector of STRUCTs. The command save can be used for saving.

"Displaying the data from the .mat file" can mean nearly everything. Please specify the question.

This is a dummy page only with "example questions" and the meaning is obscured.
