Connecting battery with incandescent lamp

I was trying to observe battery SOC, connecting a battery to incandescent lamp in simulink, very interesting i was not able to connect the two (see the attachment). Any idea will be highly appriciated

Hello Jojo,

unfortunately, this issue won't be helpful to you, as this question is old, but since it has a new comment, we'll go ahead and answer it. The issue is that there are 2 different electrical simulations technologies. Specialized power systems (was called simpowersystems) and Simscape. Previously, both used black lines and it was impossible to tell the difference just by looking. Now Simscape blocks are blue and specialized power systems blocks are block. You cannot directly connect the two technologies together without coupling blocks, and I highly recommend only using one technology or the other in a given model.
