serial communication using simulink desktop real-time on Mac

When selecting standard devices -> Serial port under "install new board" I can only submit only windows COM port: writing /dev/tty.portname as in Unix and Mac doesn't work because I receive this error "This block reference board Standard device serial Port [NaNh] which is not on the installed boards list for this computer. Do you want to add it to the list?"

Serial port I/O is not yet supported by Simulink Desktop Real-Time on Mac OS X. So, unfortunately, what you are tryinq to do is not yet possible.
