When using MATLAB's official model, replacing the observer with a custom one works fine in simulation but fails in hardware implementation

When using MATLAB's official mcb_pmsm_foc_sensorless_dyno_f28379d.slx model, I replaced the observer with a custom-designed one. The simulation in Simulink works perfectly, but after compiling and deploying to the F28379D hardware, the observed speed doubles while the rotor angle is accurately estimated. What could be the cause?
