The logic analyzer in Simulink does not appear to show signals that were manually added to a group after closing MATLAB and reopening it at a later date. The groups are still in the logic analyzer, but the signals that were associated with the group no longer show up inside or outside of the group in the logic analyzer. Other, ungrouped signals do show up. To get the signals to show up again, I had to delete the group then click the "Restore Previously Deleted Waves" button. The signals that were grouped now show up but without the group.
This seems like a bug.

Hi Brad,
I also faced a similar issue using R2023b, which occurred with a Simulink model linked to a library. Whenever I updated or saved the library and ran the model file, the logged signals in the Logic Analyzer disappeared, leaving behind an empty group.
However, upon updating to MATLAB R2024a, the issue was resolved. Therefore, as a workaround, I recommend updating to MATLAB R2024a or later.
I hope this helps!

I tested this in 2024a and the issue persists. This looks like a bug to me.
