Hi everyone,
I have a question about a reshaped D matrix taking as an input to the discrete state space solver of the synchronous machine block in Simulink
What could be the reason to do so?

could you provide more information about this [compatibility between the input data structure and the solver algorithm]
or guide me to a reference to have more information?
Does it compact the discretization error in any way?
Thanks in advance:)

Hi Saif,
Please see my response to comments below. could you provide more information about this [compatibility between the input data structure and the solver algorithm]or guide me to a reference to have more information?
When working with Simulink and utilizing the discrete state space solver, ensuring compatibility between the input data structure and the solver algorithm is crucial for accurate system modeling. Reshaping the D matrix before feeding it into the solver is a common practice to align the data dimensions or structure with the solver's requirements and helps in maintaining consistency and compatibility between the input data and the solver algorithm. You can refer to the official Simulink documentation or specific resources on system modeling and solver requirements.
Does it compact the discretization error in any way? Reshaping the data does not directly compact the discretization error
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
