how do i turn off the Mathwork update installer installation?

Mathwork update installer is stucked since one hour on preparing updates.

Matlab version 2023b on Mac Pro 2021.

how do i cancelle the installation.

when try to close it said : cancelling an update while in progress is not supported.

It is updating since one hour or more and 0% progress

Unfortunately, MathWorks does not allow an update to be canceled once it's in progress. Canceling the process midway could result in a likely corrupted MATLAB installation, with some files being updated while others are not. The outcome is typically a MATLAB that won’t start. The Update Installer does everything it can to prevent corrupting an already installed MATLAB.

Here are a few things you can try if the MATLAB Update Installer is stuck:

• Try temporarily stopping the antivirus software (or any other security software/firewall that might hinder the installation process).
• You can attempt to forcefully terminate the process using Terminal or Activity Monitor.
