unable to open .nc file downloaded from NCEP website.

Hi I am trying to convert .nc file downloaded from http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/ website using mat lab..I am getting following error.

_??? Error using ==> netcdflib Unable to open netCDF file, library error message "NetCDF: Unknown file format"

Error in ==> open at 54 [varargout{:}] = netcdflib ( 'open', filename, mode );_

kindly fix the problem. I am enclosing the .nc file along with the screen shot for the error.

Please do the needful at the earliest.

you are using some old version of matlab, please use matlab version above than 12 to red netcdf files
