Im trying to commit files that i've altered but i get the error message saying "signing commits using SSH keys is not supported". How do i fix this? From what i've read, matlab only supports X509 keys. Do i have to get an specific key from the repository or create my own on the computer? Hi Allan,
I tried cloning my gitlab project and was able to commit changes to the repo using the SSH keys. I am not sure what is going wrong for you, however, you can make sure you followed these steps.
- Set up git control in MATLAB and gitlab by generating the shh-keys. Please follow this guide. https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/matlab_prog/set-up-git-source-control.html#use_ssh_authentication
- Clone the project, and make changes.
- Go to source control and commit. This should work fine.
Hope it resolves your issue.
Thanks,
Gyan
