Calculating the convex hull around 10-D point cloud (convhulln) collinear/​coplanar/c​ohyperplan​ar facets.

Hi all,

I am hoping to obtain the convex hull around a cloud of points in 10-D space. The coordinates of these points are actually the PCA score of the first 10 PCs. When I try to run convhulln, I get the following error: "Merging of collinear/coplanar/cohyperplanar convex hull facets is not supported."

I have tried modifying the qhull controls to no avail. I'm a bit confused by the error message, as each PC should be orthogonal. I have attached a file of some example data, as well as a little script to reproduce the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. I am new to computational geometry problems, so may not be thinking of this from the correct perspective.
