We canot link a textbook to MATLAB to view the solutions. However, if you wish you implement certain mathematical function in MATLAB, you can refer to the following documentation: https://in.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/mathematical-functions.html
I hope this helps.

This wasn't even a question about MATLAB. It was a question about setting up access to MyLab, which is a Pearson product.
While there's plenty of stuff that's easier taught on a computer, when a publisher starts reinventing wheels, I have to get skeptical. The cynic in me expects this to just be another way to suppress the used textbook market by making sure that only the first purchaser can obtain access to the necessary companion material. I can't expect that the game has changed that much in the last 15 years. Why do I bring that up? The reason is simple. If OP is facing problems with using the credentials associated with a used or foreign-market copy, that might be an explanation for the incredibly vague problem statement. Maybe I'm wrong. I can only guess.
As to what these online resources constitute or how to set them up, I really don't know. I don't have the book, I don't know what credentials are required to create an account or associate it with the book, and OP has not clearly described the problem as they observe it. It's hard to know what the solution is, because we don't even know what the problem is.
