Hi all,
I'm trying to get historical data for commodities. I've tried several ways, using the datafeed toolbox with Yahoo, trying to use the Bloomberg (before I found out I need to have a license). I've just started with MATLAB R2015a and don't have much experience yet. If anybody could provide a thorough guide on how to get the daily prices eg. for CK15.CBT Corn May 15 for the last 4 months let's say, that would be much appreciated.
Attached is the message I got when trying to use datafeed via Yahoo to get commodities data:
Thank you Petr

Many market data available via data providers usually require a subscription fee. Moreover, Datafeed Toolbox no longer supports Yahoo! Finance API.

Quandl offers a lot of data for free and also a nice Matlab API. Definitely worth a look.
