error occurred while executing external mode mex-file 'ext_comm'

I have tried to change baud rate into 921600 and 230400 but I still meet this error. Can someone please help me. I use matlab 2019a.

Just from the error message, I am speculating that the issue is with the target board. Can you confirm that the mentioned possible reasons have been ruled-out?

Hi,

Based on the error message, it seems the target hardware board is not accessible. You can perform the following checks:

1. Verify that the correct COM port is configured in the configset of the model
2. On the target board, confirm if another process using the same model is running. You can use PuTTY to connect to the board and terminate the process. And try to deploy again.
