Downloading License File for Previous Version of MATLAB

I recently purchased a new Simulink and Simscape license which defaulted to version 2023b but I have MATLAB 2023a installed. How can I use my new license with my current version of MATLAB?

Yes.

If you run the on-line installer for any previous MATLAB release (back to R2008a or later) then it will automatically generate the correct license for you.

If you are using your MATLAB Central account to generate a license file off-line, then when you click on Install and Activate -> Get License File then there is a drop-down to select the release to generate the license for.

i aready have matlab 2023b installed in my computer but when gds2 liberary installed it request licence,how can i get lincence?
