Hi Vishal,
I understand that you want to enable the geometry port for the imported CAD model in Simscape.
Since you are not able the view the “Entire Geometry” option in the “Geometry” section, it may be due to the following reasons and would need to be addressed:
1. Software Version: The version of Simscape (MATLAB) or SolidWorks you are using might not support the 'Entire Geometry' feature. Consider upgrading to the latest version of the software.
2. Model Complexity: Try simplifying the model in SolidWorks before importing it into Simscape. If the model is too complex, Simscape might not be able to handle the entire geometry and hence not showing the option.
3. Incorrect Import: Ensure that the model was imported correctly from SolidWorks into Simscape by following all the necessary steps for the import process. Please refer to the below documentation to know more about a plugin support for the same:
4. File Format: The file format of the imported model might not be compatible with Simscape. Check the supported file formats and ensure your model is in one of those formats. Please refer to the below documentation to know more about the supported file formats and softwares for import:
Additionally, you can also validate the functionality of the feature by running the example “Try It: Import a STEP Geometry File” in the below documentation:
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Ayush Misra
