Dear colleagues.
I want to report the execution times for my code for a scientific publication I am preparing.
As is common in scientific publications, the authors report the operating software used, the Matlab edition, and the hardward specifucations of the computer, like RAM and processor. These are reported, because it is commonly understood that they can heavily affect the execution time.
Now, when running Matlab online, the simulations run online on my browser.
Thus, what is the execution time really affeted by? Browser type? Matlab version? Internet speed? Computer RAM?
I could not find any information about this, could anyone please provide their insight?

Thanks for the reply, so the simulations run entrirely on Matlab's cloud. From your links, I typed system('cat /proc/cpuinfo') in the Matlab online window, but I do not think I can interpret the result.
Bottom line, the basic info I believe is that the computing power is dictated by Matlab's online servers, and I guess the traffic at the given moment.

Yes.

It show information regarding the hardware specifications.
"... and I guess the traffic at the given moment."
No, each user/session is allotted a specific amount of resources.
