xcp on serial Custom board c2000

I connected my custom c2000 320f28335 mcu board via sci_a with com port to simulink for xcp debugging, but there is time out error on connection.

Is there any specific hardware configuration?

matlab version 2022b.

the error is :

Could not connect to target application: XCP internal error: timeout expired, in response to XCP CONNECT command

Sci-a connected to pc via USB to TTL device, on com port and I configured this port number in hardware configuration in simiulink and also I checked pin number of sci-a

in my case the problem was due to Gnd connection of board and USB to TTL device, I had not connected Gnd,

after I connect it, external mode works correctly
