For resampling of 500m resolution satellite data to 2.225 km

 For resampling of 500m resolution satellite data to 2.225 km an empty array is created. For each 500 by500 , making it into 2.225km by2.225km. then take first empty pixel and read all pixels coming under the box and incorporating thr original data values (their average) to the first empty array. Please provide a code for this.
