xlsread is not reading the complete excel table when used in 2009b

Hello,

Im tried using the readtable in 2009b but it is not compatible. So, used xlsread as below

data = xlsread('TestList.xlsx','C4:AR22');

but it is only reading the last row.

can someome please provide suggestions

The syntax you are using only returns numeric data. My first guess, then, is that your spreadsheet only contains numeric data in the last row.

You can test this by calling xlsread with three outputs:

[num,txt,raw] = xlsread(___)

Inspect the raw variable and see if it has the data you are expecting.

If not, please attach your spreadsheet to your post using the paperclip icon.
