Hi Community?
I have some questions regarding Torque based Control.
Q.1
What is correct method for Torque based control for IPMSM ? Notes :Not DTC Controller surely.
Q.2
How to optimize torque based control with FOC?
Q.3
Can we include PI Controller in Torque control Ipmsm?
Q.4
Am i using correct method for torque control which is mentioned above?
Q.5.
Can I tune Two PID Controller at same time which is available current controller (In FOC)?
Q.6
What is procedure for particular torque to reach in particular time. How to tune to reach in particular time using Torque based control.
For example ,4.73Nm Torque have to reach 500 micro Sec.

When using Field Oriented Control, we control the torque by controlling the d and q axis currents. Q-axis component is the torque component and D-axis is the flux component. Below the base speed we can use zero reference for the D-axis current, i.e., id*=0. Above the base speed, in order to satisfy the voltage constraint (Vs,max^2>=vd^2+vq^2) we need to start adjusting the d-axis current in the negative direction and we enter the field weakening mode. Therefore, the torque control problem has two parts: generating the current references and controlling the current references. The way we tune the controller will have influence on the duration of the transient response. The torque accuracy will be influenced by the way we generate the current references. A good starting point in learning more about FOC and torque control of PMSMs can be found in Simscape Electrical.

I hope this helps.

Sharing few other examples to help you get started
For PMSM control with MTPA control you could check out https://www.mathworks.com/help/mcb/gs/field-weakening-control-mtpa-pmsm.html which shows how MTPA Control Reference block computes the d-axis and q-axis reference current values for maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) and field-weakening operations.
On the tuning part you can also explore Tuning PI controllers with FOC Autotuner https://www.mathworks.com/help/mcb/gs/tune-pi-controllers-using-foc-autotuner.html which shows how FOC Autotuner block can help with tuning requirements for all loops.
Hoping these help.

Hi ,
I am facing one issue when upload the value in PMSM Current reference generator block."No Feasible current reference found .Please revise the parameter".But,I applied proper input values for PMSM Current reference generator block.
