I have a question about the connection of PV arrays in series and how it works

2 Ansichten (letzte 30 Tage)
The problem is that, when I connect two PV arrays in series with both 10 modules and the same data like in the picture it doesn't work, but when I use one pv array with 20 modules it works. I don't get why this does not work, because I want to work with partial shading. The problem is that the simulation starts, but immediately stops.

I understand that the simulation stops immediately when two PV arrays with 10 modules each are connected in series. But when I ran the simulation by connecting two PV arrays with 10 modules each in series connected to a resistive load, the simulation ran successfully.
I tried to reproduce the error, but I was not able to as the details of solver and the load was not provided, but if you still get error after following mentioned workflow, share these details.
I am attaching the snapshots of the Simulink model which I have tried and its output.
You may refer the below link which shows a Simulink example on Partial Shading of a PV Module.
