I would like to use the plugin that allows the MATLAB interface to communicate with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5)
But, It cannot be used with the following error message.
Are there any plans to update the MATLAB interface module for UE5?
The plans can have a great impact on my research direction.
Thanks.

@ geometry dash, The MATLAB interface communicating with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) appears to be having problems. Please contact Mathworks support directly using the button at the bottom of the page for assistance.

Support for Unreal Engine 5.1 and Linux in R2024a
With the release of R2024a, we are happy to announce that the MATLAB and Simulink interface to Unreal Engine now supports Unreal Engine 5.1 as well as the Linux operating system, two highly requested features!
Simulink 3D Animation is the new home of the Unreal Engine interface while products like Automated Driving Toolbox, Vehicle Dynamics Blockset, UAV Toolbox, Aerospace Blockset and Robotics System Toolbox will offer domain-specific scenes, actors and features for you to perform 3D Simulation and visualization using the interface to Unreal Engine. See details about licensing changes here.

In response to Walter’s post, I’d like to clarify on behalf of the development team that created our existing Unreal Engine interface. MathWorks has had a development team with Unreal Engine expertise for many years, with our first interface to the Unreal Engine shipping in R2018a. If you look at help pages like this one, you’ll see that we have continued to upgrade to newer Unreal Engine versions every few releases. In R2023a, we moved to the last Unreal Engine 4 version that Epic Games will support. Our team continues to work on enhancements to the interface, but we do not make public statements about our future plans.
If you’re interested in learning more about MathWorks roadmap, you might enjoy attending a MathWorks Advisory Board (MAB) meeting, where we speak about the future of our products and collect input from customers like you. Contact your MathWorks sales rep if you’re interested. Unfortunately, you just missed this year’s MAB (held in early June), but you can find info about other events here.

No, there are no plans to upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.
If there were plans, then Mathworks would hiring with Unreal Engine as a job requirement, but the closest they come to that is a marketing job in automated driving that requires knowing at least one programming language from a list of several that includes Unreal Engine.
Possibly Mathworks will update to Unreal Engine 5 some day; your question was whether there are plans to do that. Their hiring requirements imply that either there are no plans to do so, or else that there are plans but the target date is not any time soon.
How do I know? I do not know; I can only deduce from the public evidence.
If you need to know what Mathworks believes that it is doing in this field then that would have to be based on information that is not public. Which is to say, you would need to sign a non-disclosure agreement with Mathworks.
Mathworks makes available a general Platform Roadmap to allow planning about which releases will be supported over which time frame. The majority of other information about what will be available in the future is only available under NDAs, with the exception that in the one week immediately before a new release, managers at Mathworks can start publicly acknowledging features that will be released almost immediately.
