How can I know the Cost function expression used in MPC command line, when I use 'sim' command

hi
I have used sim command to solve the MPC problem, with weighting matrices for MV,MVRate and OV. And also I have given the constriants on MV & OV. The state estimator used for this problem is inbuilt kalman filter. Then what could be the cost expression considered by the MPC controller?. will weight matrices become "diag or blk diag"? will you please give a clarity on this..I'm littlebit confused.
your inputs become more helpful to me
thank you in advance

how did you define the cost weights?

As I mentioned in the other thread, if you follow this example and provide the entire weight matrix as a cell array, you will use the alternate cost. Otherwise, you can just specify a single scalar weight for the respective diagonal element
