Depends on what you want to achieve by the if-statement.
You can either use
if x(6)>0 && x(7)>0
H = 1;
end
to set H=1 if both conditions are true or you can use
if x(6)>0 || x(7)>0
H = 1;
end
to set H=1 if at least one of the two conditions is true.
