I need help I'm trying to have an issue here like I want to detect that speaker and when it recognizes the voice it will say grant This is my code. In the testing part.

A note: Warnings are a very useful support. Disabling all warnings is a really bad idea.

tmp is the recoreded signal. You try to correlate it with an audiorecorder object:

similarity = corr(recObj, tmp);

This is not meaningful and you should see a corresponding error message. Of course you can correlate a signal only with another signal.

"what should I type instead" - I cannot know this, because you did not clarify, what you want to achieve.

First of all omit the destructive warning off. Then fix the confusion comments: "Record your voice for a second." (No, 2 seconds to be exact). What does "% output of whether audio is granted or denied" mean?

An audiorecorder object cannot be 1 or 0. It is an audiorecorder obejct, not a number.

Your code overwrites the contents of USER(3, :) twice:

Afer the 3 recordings you have the data from the last one only. So what do you want to do with it? What do you want to compare with what?

Restart from scratch. Write an explanation, what you want to do actually. Start with a simple code like:

You have mentioned a "database". Your code does not contain anything like that.

I've explained already, why if recObj==tmp' is not meaningful. You want to compare spoken words. Then checking for equality is not useful, because you cannot expect that the recorded sounds are prefectly equal. Most of all, if you want to compare voices, this is a demanding project.

I cannot guess, what the purpose of this line is

You are allocating memory for 15 samples. Then you store one sample in this matrix, but do not use it anymore. Afterwards you compare the recorded sound with the sound recorder object.

The current code does not do anything in this direction.

Start with learning, how voices or spoken words recorded as sound files can be compared. A "Feature Extraction" would be useful, but this is not easy. Start here to get a rough overview: https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/computer-science/speaker-identification

If you want to implement this in Matlab, the online tutorial suggested by Walter would be very useful. But I do not think, that this demanding project can be solved without high programming skills.

Where does the idea for this project come from? Matlab is an interpreted langauge and implementing an access control is rather accademic, because it is very easy to break. Why spending weeks or months to implement something which is not useful?

In another question, the user posted code that extracts pitch, and which compares that extracted pitch to a list of (at most) 5 stored pitches to find the closest stored pitch. But that code stopped short of checking how close the analyzed pitch is, and missed out on the idea that once you had identified which of the stored pitches was closest, that you could use the index to look up the name associated with that pitch.

The online tutorial takes about 2 hours. It saves much more time than you waste by writing not working codes. Especially if you are a student and should implement a solution effciently, it is the best strategy to learn how to work with the selected tool.
