Saving files without logging in as Administrator

I can't save MATLAB files under my MATLAB user name. Apparently need to login in as ADMINSTRATOR but MATLAB doesn't recognize that user name (License Manager Error -9). Would like to be able to save files under my MATLAB username. How do I do this?

I'm in a MATLAB directory under R2022b, under my MATLAB user name.. Using Windows 10. Getting "error using save" "unable to write matlab.mat", "permission denied"

1. You should have your administrator re-activate MATLAB with your Windows User Name, rather than theirs. You can do that from C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2022b\bin\win64\activate_matlab.exe.

2. You should save files into a directory that you have permissions for or have your administrator give you access to the directory you’re trying to save things in.
