Report generator producing incorrect line rendering in System Composer model

When generating a report using the report generator, the model snapshot shows lines with very thick rendering. This isn't what I would expect. I've attached a screenshot showing what happens. This makes it very confusing to read and it loses the significance of the formatting that was applied within System Composer.

Is this a bug or can it be fixed?

Still investigating this issue but as a workaround, you can change your max scaled size to something larger (like [20 20]) and that should prevent the connectors from looking bolded.
