Outdoor visible light communication

I need help in constructing the outdoor visible light communication (VLC) in MATLAB. Due to limited references regarding outdoor VLC, it would be very helpfull if I can get some reference or example on the outdoor VLC or how to change the indoor VLC toward outdoor VLC.
