Unable to connect the Arduino Nano 33 IoT to Simulink

Hello.

I've purchased the Engineering Kit R2. I've been advancing in the lessons up to Basics Of Mechatronics. With the Matlab part everything went well, when connecting with the Arduino Nano.

But in lesson 3.7 Designing a Motor Control System, where Simulink is used, I cannot establish a successful connection with the Arduino Nano.

Following all the instructions, I am sure that there is no an Arduino object in Matlab; I checked the port assigned to the Nano in the device manager; I tried in the Hardware Settings/Target hardware settings/Host-board connection with Automatically and Manually Select options and I simply cannot establish a connection between Simulink and the Nano.

I've run the Arduino setup several times and in there, the connection is succesful, but no luck with Simulink.

This is the error message I'm getting in Simulink:

The following error occurred during deployment to your hardware board: Unable to create a communication link with the serial port. Please check the input argument PORT and verify that a device is connected.

Any suggestions, will be much appreciated.

After three days, I found the solution:

1. Install the Arduino's IDE drivers for the Nano 33 IoT, as mentioned here: Arduino Quickstart Guide
2. Under device manager, verify the port assigned to the Nano 33 IoT.
