2D contours and transparency

Is is possible to set the transparency of 2D contour plots? It used to be possible, but it stopped working in 2014b. The way I did it was when h1 was the contour plot handle:

allH = allchild(h1);
patchesToHide = [1:max(size(allH))];
set(allH(patchesToHide),'FaceAlpha',0.1);
