In Simulink, when an SLX file is loaded, the workspace variables are not populated

In Simulink, when I load one of my saved SLX files, the workspace variables do not get populated.
This forces me to create them manually, to make the model functional.
What am I missing here ?

Hi,
I understand that you want to retain the workspace variables that you created for the model.
You could try one of these approaches:
  1. Save the workspace variables in the model workspace or a data dictionary.
  2. If you want to use the base workspace itself, then define the variables in any relevant callback functions of the model.
Here are some documentation topics for this:
Thanks,
Anusha
