I am using matlab R2022a and also unreal engine 4.26 , following the step on customizing the scene tutorial but when i want to try to use the uproject file provided from matlab inside one of the example in the vehicle dynamic blockset , i get stuck.
The issue is right after i initialize the simulink , when i click 'play' in unreal engine , the game engine with start as below and quickly exit and the simulink with terminate .

Hi Martin,
i have reached out to the technical support but seems like they have not figure it out what is the problem right now .However, I have an older version R2020b which prompted me to install UE4.23 to make it compatible to run the supprot package in the older version. It is running smoothly now .
You may try the method above while waiting for the mathworks team to sorted it out for the issue occur in the latest version. Just a heads up it cannot open the newer version model but you can export it to a copy which support any version specified within R2022a.

There was an issue in R2022a with the "Vehicle Dynamics Blockset Interface for Unreal Engine 4 Projects support package" that contains the plugins required for co-simulation. The issue was fixed in R2022a Update 1.
You can upgrade the support package by clicking on "Add-Ons" in the MATLAB Toolstrip (the toolbar at the top of the MATLAB Desktop window) and selecting "Manage Add-Ons". Click on the "Updates" tab and then select the support package and click "Update".
