How to generate Contour plot of correlation coefficients ?

Hi,

Please help me out how to plot a contour map with correlation coefficients of a matrix.

All I have is a matrix with 5 sets of reflectance data ranging from 400 to 1500 nm wavelength.

I have attached an image of my data and a sample contour map (obtained from similar data by some other person) I dont know how to obtain such a map from data I have. Actually the objective is to find the wavevelengths (bands) with highest band to band correlation considering all five set of reflectances.

Do I need to find correlations first and then plot the map ??

Please help me out regarding this..
