Model with battery with dynamic equation

I am trying to model battery into simulink with dynamic equations referred from journal paper. However I am not able to replicate the battery behaviour. Can you plz help me out.

At a quick look v1 equation in MATLAB function is wrong, it should be v1= R1*I.
