hdl verifier and record type

hi all can we use record type in hdl verifier in simulink. I ve tried a couple of times in matlab but it is not recognised the vhdl record types. I actually need to know that can simulink compile the vhdl code(that is handwritten and has some record type in it)(maybe using xilinx compiler),give some stimulus and collect the responses of that vhdl code. thx in advance.

HDL Verifier does not support record types.
