I have an amateur microscope image I would like to analyze. The image is attached. I want to create a code that selects the red spots and gives me the total area of these. How can I do this? Thank you!

If you have the latest version, try out the Color Thresholder App to attempt segmenting the 'red' spots.
You could then try the Region Analyzer App to get the total area.
(I would encourage you to look at the generated MATLAB code to better understand the steps and algorithms used)
