How can one possibly use matlab2014b since it no longer has a reasonable eps output????

I sometimes wonder what kind of testing procedures TMW goes through when deciding to make major changes. Over the years (and I've been using matlab for 24 years now) they have introduced some large problems (often related to graphics) from time to time in various releases, but the .eps debacle in version 2014b really raises the bar on the kind of awfulness that can slip through. Its as if they no longer even care about their users...
Its hard to imagine that anyone even looked at an eps output file.
Fortunately, "Our development team is aware of this issue and they may consider fixing it for the future releases of MATLAB."

Yeah, I have to agree. I'm glad I kept my copy of 2014a installed. I've reverted back to using it because the eps output issues are crippling.
