Simulink start page error

Hello,

I currently use MATLAB 2021b but i cant open simulink pages. Simulink starting page is the only thing i can open about simulink. I redownloaded and installed but these dont worked.

Just to clarify:

1. You can type simulink in the command line window, and this can open up the "Simulink Start Page"?
2. Then you select one option there (for example 'Blank Model' under Simulink) and nothing shows up?

Yes this is exactly what is happening. This window stay like that until i close simulink.

One of the causes for this problem is if you have your Windows Firewall set to block starting connections from MATLAB onto the same computer. Simulink itself runs in a different process and MATLAB needs to create a TCP/IP connection to that process.

The same Firewall issue can also affect using doc and can affect using the Symbolic Toolbox.

I checked my Windows Firewall so Matlab has 2 connection TCP and UDP these connections are allowed for everything. Also I have been using simulink until 1 month ago somewhat this problem appeared and i cant open simulink since than.
