Hello Abhi,

Please refer to this link to find out how to find maximum intensity point in a pixel.

For edge detection, the colour image can be converted to a binary image using imbinarize. Please refer to this link to know how to obtain the threshold for the conversion. After converting the image to a binary image the bwperim can be used to obtain the edges in the image.
