Can the Data Acquisition Toolbox be compiled into a Matlab Web App and used on a Mac or Linux PC (vs Windows PC)

We want to acquire data using National Instruments hardware supported by the Data Acquisition Toolbox, but the toolbox only runs under Windows. If we develop the Matlab application under Windows, can we use the Matlab Compiler to build a web app that will collect data on a Mac or Linux PC? Or is the NI USB device driver only for Windows? If the USB driver is only for Windows, what if we use a NI DAQ with an Ethernet interface instead?
